Introducing The American Revolution: A Free Film Series. Presented by the Smyth County VA250 Committee, commemorating the 250th Anniversary of our nation's birth. All films take place at The Lincoln Theatre in Marion, VA. FREE!

As the first shots of the Revolution are fired, a young man witnesses the war come to his own doorstep.

Sunday April 26, 2026 at 2:00pm see April Morning, an adaptation of Howard Fast's 1961 novel about a teenage boy's coming of age on the eve of the American Revolution, when the Colonists made their stand on the Lexington green.
