The Peaks of Otter and Poplar Forest Chapters of the DAR have come together to provide a historical marker to Liberty University to designate the site of the Revolutionary era arsenal at New London. This site is a special and unique site of critical importance to the war effort here in Central Virginia. The dedication ceremony will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, April 17 at 713 Alum Springs Rd, Forest, VA. The event is free and open to all. Come to learn about the role our community played in the Revolutionary War!
