Get ready for a double celebration as we honor 305 years of Spotsylvania history and the grand 350th anniversary of American independence! Explore the VA250 Mobile Museum experience, "Out of Many, One," highlighting Virginia's pivotal role in the making of America using immersive, hands-on exhibits and displays.

Spotsylvania County Founder’s Day marks the anniversary of the county’s official establishment on May 1, 1721. Founder’s Day provides a time to recognize the county’s historical significance and more than three centuries of growth, resilience and progress.

On Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., festivities will include free museum tours, children’s activities and reenactors. The rain date for select Founder's Day activities is Sunday, May 3.
