At the National D-Day Memorial's annual Family Day, kids and adults can together get a glimpse of life at home and on the front lines during World War II. Family Day features educational displays, demonstrations, living historians, children's activities, and special tours. Food will be available for purchase.

The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets' precision drill team, known as the Gregory Guard, will hold a performance on Gray Plaza at 10:45a.m., set against the Memorial's symbolic beach tableau scene. The performance will last only minutes, so get there early to not miss it!

Guests can give the gift of life and support the Memorial by giving blood at an on-site bloodmobile. The Blood Connection, the nonprofit blood provider locally for Carilion Clinic, will donate $10 for each blood donation collected to the Memorial. As a thank you, each donor receives $30 in rewards, redeemable for e-gift cards. The minimum age to donate blood is 16 with parental consent.
