Revolutionary Rest: Glamping Like It

About

In celebration of Virginia's 250th Anniversary, Love Ridge Mountain Lodging introduces Revolutionary Rest — a limited-time, heritage-inspired glamping experience that blends 18th-century frontier spirit with modern mountain comfort.

Located at milepost 16 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Love Ridge offers the perfect setting to step into Virginia's Revolutionary past. Along the same ridgelines early settlers once called home, guests can rediscover the pioneering spirit through immersive design, storytelling, and elevated outdoor living.

Package Includes:
Overnight accommodations in our colonial-inspired canvas tent are available for up to 4 people (2 adults, 2 children)

Appalachian Charcuterie Board: An artfully arranged board featuring regional cured meats, artisan cheeses, seasonal preserves, pickled vegetables, and rustic crackers — a nod to the bounty of the Blue Ridge and the resourcefulness of early frontier life.

Letters from Camp: Write a note by lantern light, seal it in wax, and take home a keepsake from your time on the ridge.

Now accepting reservations for June 1 through September 30, 2026.
